Q. Will I ever receive unsolicited email from River Valley Geocachers or anyone else due to my registering with River Valley Geocachers?
A. No.  River Valley Geocachers will not share your name or email address with anyone else. Furthermore, should River Valley Geocachers offer additional services such as email newsletters in the future you will only receive those emails if you explicitly subscribe to them.

Q. Why does the registration screen ask so many questions?
A. The only required fields to register with River Valley Geocachers is a user name, password and a valid email address. The email address is never divulged. All other information is strictly voluntary. This information can be viewed by other users who may find a common interest with yours.

Q. Why do you use cookies?
A. Cookies are only used if you register with River Valley Geocachers and log in.  If you do not log in and only browse the site, no cookies are used.  After logging in cookies are used so that River Valley Geocachers can remember who you are so that you do not have to retype in your user name and password when performing some functions that require authentication, such as posting to the forum.  These cookies are never used to track actions, are never written to an River Valley Geocachers database and are never shared with anyone.
