I take my hat off to IWC.

I have DNFed more of his caches than I have found and will admit at one time I thought he hid them to “not be found”, that his joy came from DNF logs. But getting to know him and his caches over time I have learned he likes to challenge cachers as he challenges himself. With one of my newer caches I have also learned that you can even put a cache in the wide open for even muggles to see and it is still challenging to seasoned cachers.

He has taught me to take pride in what I have found and in the search for others. I still don’t enjoy DNFs on my caches but am learning to like that “scratch my head” feeling from wondering “how did they miss that?” knowing they will get it next time.

I wish others would have had my dad to teach them that “you never fail till you stop trying!” and maybe they would stop crying when someone outwits them.

So to you Jason my friend, I am thrilled to be caching close enough to be challenge/fooled by and learn from you. Keep them coming and thank you.

Very nicely said Capytone and I applaud IWC with you. He have placed some challenging caches that have left me scratching my head. I know I have not put enough time in on some of them to even expect that I have a chance to find them - maybe I am still trying to get over the headaches from some of the others  Maybe my brain is just getting worn out :? :-) WTG IWC and thank for the variety of caches you have placed.

Hay thanks for the great comments! I have been toying with an idea and then last night another hit me! I just need a place to put it!

I no doubt have the boring hum drum caches but they are there for #s. But I have been trying to put together some out there that are nice. The problem is the it all has seemed to die off around here. I used to get email about finds all the time but for the last year or so they have been few and far between. Heck I have a pile of caches placed and in different towns as well.

Thanks again and keep an eye out for something new. I know it is coming just not sure when!
What kind of influence do you have?
